CHK have over 10000 employees. We have 7 + Enid. We sold them the land for > 70 M
Despite their resources they rushed and randomly drilled 2 dry holes. If they sell the land for greater than their purchase price (despite their pathetic, unresearched failures) its because they have convinced a sizeable O & G company that the land is petrochemically or otherwise, valuable. Then CHK are smart, but Terry ( SSN ) is smarter.
I cannot imagine Sir Terry buying back this land for more than he sold it for. So if we buy it back for less - despite it's productivity or not. - Then once again, Terry ( SSN ) is smarter.
Defender and SOA will be indicative. ...and then onto Fort Peck. None of us have information about the current or future fiscal polices of CHK.
IMHO, the Hare ( CHK ) has tried to run so fast that he has dropped the ball and hasn't even realized.
