Yup subscription revenue calculations is a ver good estimate. It doesn't have to be exact, we as analyst just want to get close.
The way I do it for tracking the Full time Painchek employee at Person Centred software (PCS) is first find the announcement in PCS website on when they got a dedicated Painchek staff. You look at the date. Then look at downloads in UK from Applyzer to correlate. My assumption is that from this quarter onwards, the UK downloads come straight from PCS Painchek staff. To track, we can use the same idea of measuring spikes in downloads and create a metric we can use to estimate the number of beds.
