I know a case where they let a mortgage client go 4 years without informing them that they in fact qualified for a cheaper (professional, 0.5% off) rate. When quizzed about this they simply said "you didn't ask", despite the fact that they well-knew the client's employment status since start-up. Needless to say, the client refinanced asap, but they even stalled on that just to be difficult.
Simply cannot be trusted.
