it was mentioned many months ago on this forum by a poster that ANZ was perhaps heading for a rights issue close to $10 a share. Whether this eventuates is open to debate, but it appears to be increasingly likely at some point in the future.
IMO the brand is irrevocably damaged over Opes and other debacles in which it was involved.
