Mate, I am no fan of ANZ's action but Opes is NOTHING like the home mortgage scenario you just used to illustrate it.
And don't drag the government into it.
If governments intervened in every legal stoush in the nation then we WOULD have SERIOUS problems. Lets have a reality check, please.
Opes creditors need to get it into their heads (and I am sure most of you have) that this thing is no longer going to be resolved any time soon....and the Adminstrator who failed to deliver you guys a mediated settlement (after strongly indicating they would) is the latest culprit to join the long list of usual suspects.
This will no longer be a battle...it is turning into a war of attrition.
