I'm still confused though.
1. I gather that mismanagement by Opes Directors which included preferential treatment of some clients was complicit in the failure of Opes.
Not a word from any of you people about this.
2. What about the punters.
Why weren't they with Comsec or Macquarie if they were such smart people. I was reading in the AFR of doubts about Opes weeks and months before it went pear shaped.
My understanding is that nobody else would margin the stocks they had because the lvrs of many were so crap.
I don't expect any more cogent answers than a martian would, but the questions need to be put.
