I rang Ferrier Hodgson today to ask about the 2nd creditor meeting. They say they will notify creditors by Sept 18 as to the date of the meeting. They are waiting on the outcome of next Monday's Fed Court direction's hearing so that:
a. creditor claims can be valued for voting purposes, and
b. to see whether Judge Fink grants further extension

So the earliest we can expect the meeting is Sept 22-25 (7 days after notification).

If Beconwood commences Oct 8 I would expect an offer beforehand if Mike Smith is fair dinkum about reaching a commercial settlement.
