The delay in the judication is a bit interesting but if judges are going to take their own sweet time making decisions there is not much anyone can do about it.
Just goes to show how complicated all this legal stuff must be and, while us clients may be frustrated at the delays, maybe there is no conspiracy theory and maybe they (FH, ANZ, and ASIC?) are just going through the process in as thorough and accurate a way as possible, in order to make sure that the "holistic" settlement is acheived.
No point in going off half-cocked, because it will just get challenged and defeated. Better to have all the ducks lined up properly and we all wash our hands of the matter once and for all.
