Michael, I wouldn't declare victory just yet. This is not going to be good for ANZ at all. This is unprecedented and so who knows what will happen in the coming years. Pulling out past cases won't help make sense of it because this has never happened before.
But, you are right that things haven't go Opes clients way so far.
That may have just been the patience of the litigators waiting for JL to stop mincing around in Mike Smith's shadow and get out of the way.
The claims will take ages to plead but have a good chance of success. I refer you back to the Litigation Funders mantra
