As far as I am concerned, I recalled my shares under the contract to vote them over a year or more ago. The contract was unwound then as a vote from myself was offered an I elected to vote. Shares definately have to be recalled to vote.
You are right ANT, the maximum term of an AMSLA is meant to be less than 12 months for tax reasons. The contract should have unwound at that date as well.
