The sad thing in all of this are the regulators. And Mike West does have a point when he says 'where are all the substantial shareholder notices' for the stock now held by ANZ? Also in regards to capital loses to Opes Prime customers is another problem that will be faced. This has opened quite a large pandoras box in my opinion. The people to blame are the people that allowed Opes to operate as they did. Mainly ANZ, ASIC, ASX - surely someone there knew what was bound to happen etc.

A tradegy for those that have lost money in this debacle. everyone needs to ensure that they are well diversified with accounts with multiple financial institutions.

Each day convinces me more that we are in an ultimate credit bubble that will claim far many more casualties then we have had so far.
