opes prime anz needs to consider settlement

    IMO, I think ANZ should be thinking about settling up soon, based on the IMF Hugh McLernon definition in the Australian today, that about sums up the transaction about the Opes Prime equity financing facility, alias margin loan.

    I wonder when ANZ will finanlly realise that they have a slim chance of winning this fight.

    In share lending you are not given a credit line that you pay commercial interest on, you are paid a fee as your security collateral for the shares you have lent to the borrower, that is your risk premium, bottom line.

    As he said, a contract can be overridden by the actions in a transaction, just like a contract can also be established by the actions. Misleading a deceptive brochures and website indicating that investors retain beneficial ownership and ANZ not lodging notices for 4 year, you can see where it is heading.

    ANZ to also be sued for taking security under duress, wow ANZ is really starting to look like a real bully now.
