If ANZ proves to have good title to OPES clients,then in the interests of transparency they should hold individual auctions of the parcels of stocks held,similar to the days when unpaid calls on stocks when forfeited were sold in the foyer of the ASX.
To do otherwise ,by instant sell downs is IMHO is very close to market manipulation. ASIC should step in to keep an orderly market.
