Some good submissions in there. Victor Ainslie raises an excellent point about qualified accountants being barred from providing financial advice. It seems absurd to me that a CA/CPA with years of financial training and experience is not permitted to provide financial advice. However a basic diploma is sufficient to obtain a financial planning qualification.
I'd never heard of the Mortgage Miracles situation before reading these submissions.
