I agree fully, stability in the global financial markets would certainly place a more positive tone on mediation talk. One would think that the banks would love to put any credit crisis events behind them and move on to a new start to the year. The last thnig Mike Smith wants to be know for is OP and the bad lending practices over the last few years, so having to defend their reputation would not be high on high on his agenda.
Time to clean the slate and start fresh in rebuilding their reputation.
