Firstly, where does it indicate ANZ Nom's updated holdings in ESI.
Secondly, with 700 companies listed, how many shares would you expect to be held in esi by OP.

I doubt the shares held under ANZ Nom's would be related to the OP situation. They have been on the register since 2006. Major shareholders in ESI have held their holdings via ANZ Nom's and when sub holders transfer holdings between companies or individuals it is reduced from the total ANZ Noms holding.

You could have a situation where an investor is geared with a high Loan to Value Ratio and any holdings not related to the geared portfolio would have been kept as security. So there could have been only a few hundred K held. It could well be yesterdays sale of 340k could have been an OP related sale.
