Who knows what's going on? With no reporting on the mediation and the media citing no-one or simply unspecified "sources close to the mediation" the non bank creditors of OP are in the dark.

It seems possible that the "up to $250m" figure is just the reporter adding up the numbers from the AFR last week and a guess of $50m from ML, which would give a range of $200m-$250m.

The big question is whether this figure represents all components which could be returned to client creditors or not. If so then it seems unlikely that the majority of client creditors will accept the ofer in preference to litigation. If not, then we should soon find out what other components are to be returned to creditors or to FH.
