It looks like today IMF have folded with Opes Prime, and will get a nice little chunck of the creditors pool taking the distribution down to around 35c.
It is obvious that these actions of the litigators did not force ANZ to settle, it was most likely the actions from ASIC, so why should creditors wear the costs of both IMF and Slaters for their actions that have really been a wate of time.
I would urge all creditors out there to contact the Sweeney Team so that the creditors interests can be represented fairly. It is NOT too late to have this issue dealt with and the creditors pool increased to cover these costs.
The more creditors that join the Sweeney Team, the bigger the voice to be heard on this matter before it goes to vote.
