Dunny,as I see it, the risk has been mitigated by ASIC directives to ANZ to sort out the mess. This is not a situation of a covered rat.
I do not believe that the Opes victims in general would be adverse to their day in court. In fact I am sure most of my long suffering Opes victims would welcome our day in court. Woould ANZ welcome it? If litigation is their preferred option, do you really think ANZ would have put an offer on the table in the first place. I like your devil advocate approach, but your argument is quie skewed and it makes me suspicious again.
The farmer gate in 80s really collapsed Westpac. I say being it on..... It is really a terrible example to give. Maybe you are just trying to scare of people who are not familiar with the Farmer Gate. In the eyes of the public and the eye of teh law Westpac lost that fight.
