it is very true that reputation especially in finances/banking is everything...and ANZ does not look to good atm regardless of the greed/ignorance or just lack of attention to detail of Opes clients...1200 is not a large number, but they have family and friends and work mates...they talk...and others read the papers...Morgan ain't here to take revange on but ANZ is right next door in every subpurb....someone already said in here, maybe they should have "pooled" the shares yet again and wait for legal yey or nay before rushing with the selling spree...but i guess they were pretty sure re their rights to be so hasty....we never had a run on a bank down under but i wonder what the bank would look like if nobody came to do business with them?...i am staying away from them because of the pulp mill any way....the reasons of not visiting their branches is growing...
