I had a problem that went to the supreme court. It was over $12,000 illegally placed caveat on property. To prove it I was quoted legal fees near that much by a barrister who said it may actually be even cheaper just to pay the blackmailer. I went it alone and won out of court however the fact what happened was actually illegal was never an issue with the courts nor the government.
To win a court case you need very many $$$$$$$$$.
The legal system is there for the likes of ANZ not the rest of us.
