In light of the opes situation, I've checked the product disclosure document of xxx (name withheld) which allows share trading.
Of concern:-
"xxx Investment Wrap allows you to invest in ASX Listed Securities (including certain warrants and IPOs). xxx will purchase or sell the ASX Listed Securities in the name of xxx and, as the registered owner, will hold the legal title to those securities."
So if xxx ever went into liquidation, securities I've paid for are gone. hmmm not happy...
