How would he know anyway ?
IMO, there's a very good chance that Nick Cooper (Ophir CEO), would know if Sunbird was commercial or not. BG & Ophir have been tight and successful JV partners, over the past few years and would of shared data on many occasisons. Plus l think BG are red hot to join Ophir/Far in L9, not L6. Far are still waiting for there L9 Gov approval, yet L6 Milio approval went straight through within weeks, l think there is good reason for the L9 delay???
What did you think is happening with PCL & Far(L6). Why do you think FAR stopped farm down talks recently and are reopening their data room shortly??, might have something to do with feedback from PCL??.
Hell, Chris Finlayson (BG CEO) & Nick Cooper (Ophir CEO), most likely caught up tonight after work at their London Gentleman's club, for a quick White Owl cigar and a single malt, before heading off home.
