The Maersk Deliverer is currently en route to Mauritania.
Dana Petroleum have contracted it to drill the Cormoran prospect.They expect a spud around 01/09/2010.
The target prospect is estimated at between 400-780 mboe.
This wildcat will help define the Atlantic Ridge and will be of interest to FAR holders.And Tullow keep on finding more oil offshore Ghana to the south.
The only brush with the Maersk Deliverer FAR will have to date will be when it gets towed over FAR's permits off Senegal on the way to GB next year.Got to say though some of these West African prospects are real belters.Lets hope FAR can get amongst it next year with a JV.
