I agree gold needs somesort of sentiment change. Either a change in sentiment to value investing that was a bit of a fad at the start of the year, or correction in s&p 500. A btc correction will accompany this. The retail crowd will be interesting. I think most are investing savings or money they can afford to lose but means support will be weak as buyers will be tapped out and wont reenter. Maybe apple's pathetic product launch could be a catalyst. They will still probably make lots of money but was hugely disapointing. I am also predicting a big revenue miss by telsa. Tesla is really strughling to sell units in China stuck at around 10k units a month well below expectations from a year ago. They are making that up in western countries but I believe that will drop off as early adopters are taped out. That could be another catalyst. The shear size of these companies now and share buy backs pose headwinds for gold.
