Apologies lei, I do now see your point - NC is dealing in Malaysia based on his China experience which has created false expectations.
I'd add that NC also has a lot of Western experience and I'm sure he is drawing on that as well. I'm certainly no expert but I also get the sense that Malaysian politics is changing under the current PM who seems to be making an effort at a more open & honest Govt and the LAMP seems to be a bit of a catalyst.
