Well even if there is no takeover, at the lower end of dividend projections ( as per last dividend) its still a great yield at current prices. As alluded to earlier, I have just picked up more.
There has been some disquiet about the impact on the falling $ on their bottom line, but then all retailers importing ( probably most retailers these days) have the same impact, so whats going to happen... do we all collectively stop buying imported goods ( clothes, consumables) from all retailers across the country !! Don't think so. And lets not forget he Aussie $ has spent most of its life, decades, in the 0.7 range against he US$, and Myers has survived that very well all this time
