Great info and data on the discovery wells of the Gippsland basin, back in the late 60’s. Kingfish discovery- still largest ever oil discovery in Aus.
Over a billion barrels. Areal closure 80skm, vertical closure 66m. Dorado is twice the vertical!
Disclaimer I know nothing about all this stuff!! Just a Joe Blow pissing in the wind waiting for the wind direction to change.
But my researching and reading led me to this and I found it very interesting. Weirdly the whole play reminds me of ours, at least I want it to. Anyway, if anything it’s a good history lesson ✌️
