agree, but tell him that jack russells may be lively, but they are also sooky little toy dogs, that really need to live inside with the family...
any short haired small dogs, are inside dogs.... they cannot be expected to tolerate the extremes of temperature outside
they are the best little friends, the kids can have...so long as there is adult supervision..to avoid harm to the dog...
