50.1% gives them majority shareholding - they would control the board with a majority of board members but SBL would still be listed on the ASX.
90% would allow them to compulsorily aquire the remainder of the shares and SBL would disappear.
With a majority holding they can attempt to delist the company and you would have problems trading the shares but they would have problems being allowed to do this.
