For anyone prepared to go through the process of excersising them, there is a heap of money to be made there. Sell a million shares at 13,buy a million options at 11 and exercise them. There's $10k just for the trouble of filling out a conversion form and sending off a cheque.
People steering clear of the options due to lack of liquidity, hence the increasing gap.
