Wiht fpo approx 5c and oppies 4c, if you're aiming for a rise to 10c, the fpo gain is 100%, the oppie gain 125%. For me personally it is not enough of a difference for the extra risk involved ie lower liquidity etc. Of course if you are planning on holding to expiry and exercising then you do get yourself an extra 25% shares for the same cash.
