That's the name of the game... put selling pressure on the fully paids to facilitate purchases of oppies whilst oppies are still up for grabs, from what I can work out.
Its all about leverage and getting what one can now (for at least as possible) before a stock rerate... unless my learning curve is resembling the momentary correction on our chart... ???
The current arbitrage is meaningless in the big picture. The fact that investors are prepared to buy oppies at a premium at this point in time suggests where they think the SP is headed.
