oppinions please

experienced old timers, i want your oppinion!

This company is stockpiling gold bullion ... it has collected gold bullion to approximately the same value as its market cap. Yet it is not doing much to bring this to the attention of investors, and the reports need to be studied closely to notice its occuring.

At the same time the shareprice is gradually drifting down, and sooner than later its going to have a lower mc than its gold backing.

Does this make it a 'hidden gem' ? Or is this secretive non-transparent reporting behaviour a red flag warning sign, to run from this company as fast as possible?

I don't have enough experience to know how to interpret these events, so i'm hoping this thread can help draw out some more oppionions and advice on the issue.

Previous threads have mentioned the directors hold large % of the shares, and so probably just don't care about the shareprice, behaving as though its a private company. This train of thought seems to indicate its just a hidden gem, run by hardworking, honest but publicity shy directors, and eventually the market will notice the value of its gold stockpile, and the price should rise dramatically.

However, i also wonder if it also means the directors might have alternate use for the stockpile, and without prior announcing its intensions, they could sell the bullion and spend the money in a way the market might not approve of. eg. Could it be hiding the stockpile, so that it can be used for unpopular intentions?

Should we be running from companies that don't have transparent reporting practices? Or should we give them the benefit of the doubt, and value the company on its underlying fundamentals, which seem to be nothing but very positive ??

The market seems to be saying stay away from them ... but i'm a positive person and i'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt. What do you think ?
