I don't know the purpose of it. At first I thought it may have been to do with the CR, being vwap related. But it was insignificant in that regard after I researched the new rule. What it did though, because of the 15c trades, make RNI look particularly bad. The percentage loss for the day was high. Maybe that triggered some selling that would not otherwise have occurred.

There are people out there E doing whatever they can to advantage themselves at others' expense. Same thing could be happening with what you have noticed. Monitor it and maybe you will see a pattern. Auction time is a vg time for these people.
