    You are bringing up a point I have been very interested in.
    Could you point me at the thread that you had this discussion on?
    I personally believe there are TWO mineralization types in this area.
    1. Traditional VMS style - restricted to the Naracoota Fm, probably the Hyaloclastic units.
    2. Fault based which could occur just about anywhere,
    but would be more prevalent in the strongly faulted areas.
    The tenements with volcanic derived sediments may also
    host SEDEX (Sedementary Exhalative) deposits e.g. SRI, ENT

    IMHO in the faulted areas you will probably have small but
    very high grade copper (malachite??) with a bunch of silver and gold mineralisation.
    The VMS are going to have much more copper (Chalcopyrite)
    but lower grades of gold/silver.
    To me the whole area looks like a veritable Aladdins cave, and I will be damn surprised if SFR are the only ones who come up with anything significant.
