What a fantastic age to be doing your apprenticeship in this game. It appears you have learnt fairly fast about having a balance of blue chip & speculative shares. Took note of your holdings. I have been trading/investing since 1985 so have witnessed crashes, recessions, personal trading disasters & sometimes unbelievable gains but in enduring all of that have learnt to listen to others then form my own opinion & never panic. Never borrow to buy shares unless you have unencumbered real assetts to back it up. Thats enough of the sermon I hold blue chips AMP ANZ AWE CDD MXI NAB PBG RHC TLS WAN WBC WES. Speculative traders CQT ADN MGO ORD PEK RFE. I also have this theory so think about it. If you grizzle about the price of fuel buy a good oil stock If you grizzle about interest rates & bank fees buy bank stocks. If you grizzle about the price of food buy WOW, WES or Metcash. If you grizzle about health care buy PRY or RHC. If you grizzle about the price of clothes buy DJS PBG or BBG. If you can manage to achieve that over a period of time none of those grizzles or the cost of living will ever bother you again. NOT MUCH TO DO WITH CQT IN THAT BUT WHO CARES
