Eagle,

There was no gerrymander. The number of voters in the electoral college in each state was well known beforehand. Trump's team realised that simply tackling the most populous states wouldn't win so they targeted the states in such a way as to get the most votes in the electoral college. Hillary could have done the same.

After all this time there is no evidence of Russian meddling in the election. Political opinions expressed in alternative news media is not interference. The voting machines were off line so couldn't be hacked. Meetings with Russians were after the election results were announced so Trump was president elect and was entitled to do background research to prepare for office.

IMO, if Oprah ran she would lose because most voters would see it as a ploy to grab some easy votes. Trump won because he put forward numerous bold policies that resonated with voters. You would only have seen that if you watched all his speeches, not the TV and newspapers.

How Oprah would go is an unknown factor although imo any reasonably intelligent candidate Republican, or Democrat would win easily against Trump. The Trump experiment has turned into a nightmare. The voters will be much more measured at the next election and and wont fall for Tumps lowbrow divisive gibberish.
