If the connection between ponds is pumped, does not really matter what order you fill them in - just costs you electricity (lots of it) to move solution around.

If the connection between ponds is gravity fed pipes (is it, dont really know) - then still why does it matter when they fill pond 1 - they might just have to fill it and then release it to pond two a few times. Ie fill pond one, evaporate, release to pond two, repeat or even dont repeat and then progress a half load through the system until pond 1 and 2 expande.

In any case they are on the record of stating they are going to commence commissioning in December so I presume they know what they are doing...i sued the words commissioing because thats what report said - I am sure I read soemwhere that involved filling pond 0 and 1 but I cannot find that reference now.
