Unfortunately no.6 is very unlikely. As a supplier of a critical component to many many mines, our prices just went up by 2.5% over the weekend, to be passed onto all mining clients. Also there’s plenty of pressure for more increases in future. Our competition also face the same cost pressure.
Our product is selected for McPhillamys should Regis obtain approval, and they have not yet locked in a price with us.
Ironically the resources boom is going to bring about increase in cost to all miners.
