No. As I said, IB doesn't use the CHESS paradigm...which can be a little difficult to wrap your head around, and is a bit uncomfortable for some. They use a custodial system which is pretty much how most countries do things (yes, CHESS is special).

I believe that the GDNO register will have IB as the holder.

Nope, I did get a transaction confirmation and the GDNO lots are in my IB account (available to trade).

Opened a ticket online...waiting for a response. I was hoping that there would be some anecdotal help on HC.

I have read in some places that IB support is terrible and terrific, asking on HC is a hedge! :)
