Option for FAR?, page-9

Hi All

I will probably be branded as racist - I'm not - but I would have nothing to do with China in business. Culturally, they are not disposed towards collaboration or compromise. Fair chance we'd be shafted.

I recall the 'Farjoy Letters' talking about Western Europe looking to secure more reliable supply. That would be a much better option if that's the way we choose to go.

One suspects The Admiral and The Chef are earning their money big-time at present. I'm backing in a major 'finance' announcement within six weeks.

I'm also expecting Farjoy to play a pivotal role in whatever the (near now) future holds for us. He has already shown his preparedness to come on here at critical times to put forward his views and I'm sure he'll have plenty to say come crunch time.

And just like Victoria next week, the heat cranks up. You wouldn't be dead for quids when things get this tense, would you?
