I'm fairly sure NCM would have known exactly what stae the plant was in. They just reckoned they could fix it on the run. Turns out not to be the case. The 200m to them I think is a bit of the premium they expected to pay.

But I must say it is good to see the hammering the stock is getting. Hopefully it translates into hammering the layabouts who run these things, but I doubt it.

For me I'm waiting for entry as a long term buyer. Question is what price?

Thinking aloud assuming it costs 150,000 oz lost opportunity and 300 million to sort out plant that is approx 450 mill all up.
Quite a big slab of the 1.2 billion EBITDA.

Could be a bit more to go.
