It isn't as simple as that though either. I'm in the ops as well, but look at the current depth and liquidity. If you held a sizable position and it was in the ops then you would have a hard time selling right now. With the heads doing a bit of sideways action to sell more than 10-20k of ops would likely result in a smack down of the price.

I do like options for many reasons but they come with a different set of (often increased) risks. To say one is better than the other is a long bow to draw as if one were significantly better ten the market would likely correct the value difference (look at FFG/O as an example).
