correct.
if you bought IMUOA at 2.6c, you will have to pay another 2.6c (the strike price) to exercise the option (before expiry on 30 Nov 2020) to obtain IMU shares. Your effective cost per share will be 5.2c (compared to the closing price of 5.3c today).
if you are a newbie at options (as you said), you may like to stick with the shares.
Options have more leverage and more risk... if you don't exercise (because the IMU share price fall) you will lose your option premium (ie options are worthless at expiry)
