QSS - It doesn't say they will be extended, it says holders may be able to "continue with an equity interest".

I read that as they will be wanting cash. So there are two choices, either they pick up $20M by conversion if the JV goes through in time, or far more likely imo (we all know what "coming weeks" means - probably this year), they ask for cash as part of an offer of a rights issue.

I don't think Genorah would have been overly happy at letting go of 20M shares to keep Nkwe afloat, so they may not mind doing a deal with option holders to get extra cash in the coffers.
