Alright let me quote PL from an email sent on the 7th July.

"understand the position re options and options wont be left to expire if no significant positive event has occurred (eg. jv deal has been consumated)"

Put this together with the latest NKP announcement from PL and you should get the idea.

As for what the new class of option to be offered is, well who knows? It seems to me that they honestly believe that the jv could be concluded before the end of the month, otherwise they would have made a decision about the options already.
