Hi yabster,
With 8 months to go, the options will deteriorate in price fairly quickly over the next few months, unless there is a major turnaround with news. I have done it a couple of times with options where I have waited until they are close to worthless and then bought in. Very risky. However, depending on sentiment sometimes the market over extends on the time value left. At present, I wouldn't pay a premium for them.
