bigdogster - whats the obsession with dividends?
the yanks reckon we are mad re divvies
they say paying a divvy means the company admits it doesn't know what to do with the surplus money so they give it back as a divvy
yanks reckon company admitting that means they cant reinvest in the company, cant find new opportunities to spend the $ on, cant expand etc etc
they reckon its just dumb, they would rather see capital growth any day
not often that I agree with the yanks on anything much, but they may have a good point here
anyway I am delighted by the current BCN BCNOB trend and long may it continue
my theory of only checking the SP on a Fri has been working well, probably due for a face plant one fri soon?
