That's a false equivalency, no one is saying that companies should not have to pay 30% of their EBT in taxes. We're saying once we as owners of a company have paid that 30% tax and what is leftover is distributed to us in the form of a dividend, it is wrong to tax us again on money we have already paid tax on.
